This is the basic mock up of my front cover. I will continue to use this theme on both my contents page and double page spread.

Magazine Names

These are my ideas for the name of my magazine. I asked the other students in my class to choose which name they thought would be best for a pop music magazine and most people picked Cindy Pop. As my target market is girls aged around 11 - 15 years old, i think that the name is suitable.

Colour Schemes

I used a colour schemes website in order to find out which colours i wanted to use for my magazine. I plan to use a red/pink colour scheme as my magazine's target audience/market is young girls as it is a pop magazine.

Pop Music Magazine Font Ideas

These are the fonts that will fit in with the pop theme of my music magazine. I asked the students in my class to choose the font that they thought would be the most effective for a pop music magazine. 6 of the 11 students in my class said that 'minipop' was their favourite. 2 said that 'poprock was their favourite. 2 said that 'cutiepop' was their favourite. 1 student said that '60's pop' was their favourite. Therefore, i will use the font 'minipop' for my magazine cover.

This is the final draft of my school magazine contents page.
In order to improve the second draft, i changed the background colour in order to make it look more attractive. I aslo added two more photographs of the school in order to give parents more of an insight into the school.

This is the final draft of my school magazine front cover.
In order to improve my second draft, i changed the background colour as when i asked some students their opinions, they said that the background colour was boring as it was plain white. I also changed the name of my school magazine as when i asked some students their opinion, they said that they didn't like the name 'Biddulph High Flyer' and they thought that it didn't suit the magazine.
